Hygienic air handling units for FrieslandCampina Workum 

They have worked hard at FrieslandCampina Workum to expand of both cheese production and the production of infant food ingredients from FrieslandCampina Domo. The new installation of FrieslandCampina Domo in Workum concentrates on drying Whey. This is done using "reverse osmosis", a process in which the whey is filtered under high pressure. The water that is released is reused as process water in both the cheese and own production. Moreover, the technique saves enormously on energy. 

Dutch Blower supplied three hygienic air handling units with a total air flow of 70,000 m3/h. Internally the unit is made of AISI304, and externally from Plastisol. The bottom is equipped with drip trays, so the air handling units can be cleaned periodically.
